We set off from Queenstown in the morning and drove to the nearby town of Arrowtown. We stopped at Lake Hayes along the way and met a friendly American guy. During our conversation, we learned that he worked in the computer industry in Boston, so we were colleagues. When we arrived in Arrowtown, we were immediately surrounded by the rich autumn colors, as if the world had been painted with yellow to deep red pigments. This picture was taken at the end of a small road in Arrowtown.

上午从皇后镇出发驱车来到周边小镇箭镇。途径海耶斯湖停车，遇到一热情美国小哥。交谈中得知其在波士顿从事计算机行业，算是遇到了同行。到达箭镇，立即被浓郁的秋色包围，世界的色彩由黄色到深红的颜料染成。此图是箭镇小路尽头所摄。

The site of Arrowtown is in the valley of Arrow River. Coming back from the small road, we walked for five minuets to a flat ground of the vally. I held up the camera, aimed at the mountain, and took the following picture.

箭镇的所在地位于箭河河谷之中。沿着小路返回后，我们走了五分钟到达了山谷中的平地。我举起相机，对准山峰，拍下了下面这张照片。

After leaving Arrowtown, we continued our journey to Wānaka. On the way, we stopped at a rest area by the side of the road. The place was a highland, where one can have a panorama of the mountains that surround Queenstown. I took this panoramic picture.

Continuing our journey of ascending, we reached Wānaka. Lake Wānaka was fully decorated with the yellow. I captured a photo of the forest at the waterfront of the lake.

On the second day, we drove to Milford Sound via State Highway 94, one of most beautiful tourism roads in the world. The road goes through many mountains and vallies, including Eglington Valley, an icon of State Highway 94. In our retunring trip to Queenstown, the dusk came and the I took this picture of Eglington Valley.

Continuing the way back, we drove along the shore of Lake Dunstan. We noticed there is a fork in the main road and we drove into it. At the end of the fork is a small wharf. Looking into the distance, we saw a man droving a motor boat with a lovely dog on it. It is coming to us!

继续往回行驶，我们沿着邓斯坦湖的湖岸前行。我们注意到主路有一处岔口，于是便驶进了岔口。在岔口的尽头有一个小码头。我们远望，看到一个男人驾驶着一艘摩托艇，艇上还有一只可爱的狗。它正朝我们驶来！
